There is nothing like having your spouse leave for a while to make you realize how much you need them. Mike and I are terrible at being a part because we like each other so much. I just wanted to tell my honey that I love him and that I am SOOO grateful to be married to such an amazing man.

That is sooo sucky when life takes your spouce away. I have totally felt like a single mom more than ever this past couple of years. I know Steve isn't gone for as long a time as Mike, but every month he leaves for four days and it is agaonizing! The kids fight more, there's no one to "decompress" to about the day, the dishes pile up! Seriously, I am feeling your pain. Good luck and you'll be in my prayers!
I've been a lazy friend and haven't checked your blog for a while. Where is Mike going and for how long? You don't have very much longer in DC do you? That is so exciting and scary. Zack is so cute and I can't beleive he is already 3 months old, time flies. We love and miss you guys! oh, and I am so proud of you for learning to like pre school, I know I never could. =) Love ya!
