Ok, so I CAN breath but some days I don't want to, the air here is so bad. Many of you have asked what the pollution looks like so I tried to take some pictures. It is kind of tricky to take pictures of air but these should give you some idea. If you look at the buildings in the distance it looks like it is a foggy day, but that is not fog. This is a tipical day here in bejing. So next time you walk out your door into nice clean air, take a big breath for us.

That is so horrible! I can't believe how nasty that is.
Wow! And we think Salt Lake City gets bad! You'll have to take weekend trip out of the City to clear the lungs!
WoW!! That is some serious smog!! Has anyone in the family been sick from it? I guess that's the price you pay for having a cook/maid/babysitter! ;o)
That is so gross that is what you have to breathe in. I will definetly take some big breaths for you and your family. Hope you guys dont get sick from it.
