I LOVE LOVE LOVE having an Ayi

Our Ayi (housekeeper) Wang Li Ting, started a few weeks ago and she is Wonderful! She cleans everything and doesn't allow me to help at all. The clothes we are wearing today will be cleaned, ironed and in our drawers tomorrow. She also cooks for us and she makes great Chinese food. Finally, she watches the kids whenever I need. The other day I left the kids with her while I went and got a pedicure and massage. When I got home dinner was made. Hard life-right?!!!!! I am going to be very spoiled here. Xiexie Ayi!!! PS- I hired Mike as my Ayi but he only lasted one day, he just couldn't cut it.

Happy Happy Bithday Garret

Garret FINALLY turned 5. He has been counting down for months and on the 30th he turned 5 years old. He is so excited to be old enough to start school. Garret we love you so much and just love your happy, singing spirit around the house. Happy Happy Birthday. PS- Garret picked this cheesecake because it looked like their was a spider web on top.

Fun Fun Outing

Last weekend we went with a bunch of friends to a campout. This camp ground was a lot of fun! We rode on go carts, rode horses, played in the dirt and had a great time. Unfortunately, we did not stay over night with everyone because our camping gear is not here yet but we really enjoyed our day at the Goose and Duck campground and we will definitely go back.

This is our new home

So many of you want to see pictures of our house so here you go. The furniture in the photos is not mine however, mine does look similar. It is hard to find things to decorate with here unless you want to go all out Chinese. I have a tailor coming over to make slipcovers, painters coming over, etc. Labor is cheap here so I am taking advantage. I will post more pictures when I get the house done. By the way, the pictures are just our living area downstairs. Upstairs we have another family room, 4 bedrooms , three fancy baths, a den for Mike and the house also has another dining area. We love it but it is really big and right now, with no rugs, it echos our loud children like crazy. This is by far the nicest place we have ever lived and we are excited to make it our home.

Cutest Kids EVER!!!!!!

While we were in Utah we had our friend Jessica Coronado who runs Bellarose Photography, takes some pictures of the kids and they turned out SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!! Thanks so much Jess.

Chech out our NEW CAR

We bought a tuk-tuk so that we can get around until our car gets here (many months from now.) It is so fun to drive.
