This is our new home

So many of you want to see pictures of our house so here you go. The furniture in the photos is not mine however, mine does look similar. It is hard to find things to decorate with here unless you want to go all out Chinese. I have a tailor coming over to make slipcovers, painters coming over, etc. Labor is cheap here so I am taking advantage. I will post more pictures when I get the house done. By the way, the pictures are just our living area downstairs. Upstairs we have another family room, 4 bedrooms , three fancy baths, a den for Mike and the house also has another dining area. We love it but it is really big and right now, with no rugs, it echos our loud children like crazy. This is by far the nicest place we have ever lived and we are excited to make it our home.

Can you even believe this is your life? It is so amazing that you actually LIVE in a part of the world that I am not sure I would even dare travel to (out of fear for all those giant bugs you guys are sporting)!!!! I can't wait to hear about more of your adventures:)

My family and I are most likely moving to Beijing in January. Are you still living there? I found your blog online and wondered if I could ask a few questions? What are the best areas to live in and best schools? Do a lot of members live near the ISB school and live in the Villas out near there? We have three children, ages 18 (she's at BYU-I), an 11 yr old daughter and 7 yr old son. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
