Our time in Hawaii is coming to an end and what better way to leave than with a Luau. Mike, Trent and Garret, along with a few other friends went to a farm and killed us a pig. OK, our friend Tafu really did the killing but Mike and boys helped pick it out. We then brought the pig back to our house and roasted it over a fire in our back woods. We had the Chris Matthews family staying with us and we also invited some of our close friends from the island. It was so00 much fun and a lot of hard work. It was a BBQ (Luau) that we will never forget. Thanks Tafu for all your help and for turning the pig for an hour and a half straight. We love Hawaii!

It looks like you guys had soooooooo much fun! I can see that you will all be sad to leave Hawaii, and the ocean and the sun, and your good friends. I'm glad I got to visit three times. . . wish it could have been more.
What great memories you will take with you! Now off to your next adventure!
That looks ymmmmmy I can understand being sad to leave I think I could live there with out a problem I wouldn't want to leave either.
Bri! This whole time I didn't know you had a blog. Well, I'm going to add you guys to our friends list (thelamfam.blogspot.com). I just wanted you to know that you're going to be truly missed. You guys were such an awesome family. Sorry, I missed the farewell on Sunday (Kainoa was sick). Can't wait to hear of the many more adventures your family will have this coming year and the next! With much love and aloha, Meredith (Mer) :o)
