God Bless America!!!

I didn't know it before we joined the military, but I am an extremely patriotic person. I am so grateful for this amazing country and for all the people who sacrifice so that we can have our freedom. This time of year makes me so proud to be a military wife and to have a husband along with so many good friends serving in the military.
I am particularly happy this year to be living here in Washington D.C. with so much American history around us. I drive by the the Pentagon, the Washington Monument and so many other amazing places everyday and I never get tired of seeing them. This is an amazing place to live.
I want to be sure to add a very special and sincere thank you to our friends: Ira Pula, Ben Zapien, Leigh Kennington, David Rees, Mike O'malley, Mark Gillman, BRian Prescot, Rick Roberson, Steve Smith and many others who have just returned, are now serving or who are preparing to leave to Iraq and/or on ships. Thanks so much and may God always protect you and you families.

Happy 4th of July and God Bless America!!!!

Hey Mike! It's Brandon Maughan. My wife showed me your comment a week or so ago on our blog. It's great to stay in touch with old friends this way.
You have a neat family! I had no idea you serve in the military. I have a lot of respect for you and your family. I'm grateful for the sacrifices you make for our freedoms. I'm sure you'd have it no other way. You've always seemed to be a strong, brave, and determined person. You'd have to be to serve in India; right? :-)

I'm know its a very up close and personal view you have from inside the military, with so many military friends. I'm proud of Mike and his service, and Bri, I'm proud of you being so willing to go with Mike all over the world and share his adventures!
